Lawrence County and Greene County Missouri Ice Storm January 2007

These ice storm photographs were taken by La Wanna Jones on January 18, 2007 Email Me Here are one hundred and six ice storm photographs taken in Lawrence County and Greene County in Missouri on January 18, 2007 which is six days after the first wave of the storm hit.  Now a days many people have phones that require plugged in the electrical outlets so this left many many many people with a phone.  Others the trees falling took down phone lines and so they had no phone service anyway.  MANY, people no longer use land line phones and use only cell phones. When cell phone batteries ran down there was no where to charge them up, thus leaving may many more people without even phone service.
