A full grown cougar or mountain lion is tan to reddish brown to grey brown with black on the sides of it's muzzle, the backs of the ears, and the tip of the tail. The Cougar usually has a white or light colored belly. It has a fairly small rounded head with small round ears. The feet of a cougar is quit large.
Cougar tracks don't usually show claw marks. Their front feet are larger than the their back feet. Their tracks of their toes spread wider the faster the cougar is moving.
Mountain Lions (Cougars) have an amazing jumping ability. They can jump really fast, really high and really far.
