Unwanted Exotic 'Pets" Form MissouriWe are trying to compile a list of unwanted exotic pets from Missouri that have been taken in or turned away at sanctuaries across the United States. However, we are finding it difficult to compile that information as it is usually not compiled anywhere by state. So if you have ANY information, PLEASE contact us!! Turpentine creek has other unwanted 'pets' from Missouri. Here are some:
Makes me wonder if any of the other unwanted 'pets' from Missouri that Turpentine Creek could not take might show up in my backyard. If those 'pet' owners could not find a sanctuary to take their pet... did they turn it loose in the woods near my home or your home??? ALSO!

This Problem is GROWING!! The above mentioned large carnivores are just the tip of the iceberg!! WAKE UP MISSOURI! This list has nearly 30 carnivores on it, just recently!! Again this does NOT even touch the amount really in Missouri! Remember there is a tiger breeder/seller in Lampe, Missouri. Rumors are also floating of a Cougar breeder/seller in Hollister Missouri that I still trying to confirm. These are only two breeders and I have not been able to confirm that either one has permits!! PS!!! NOTE!!! We are looking for information or photos regarding the breeder/seller in Lampe, Missouri where the tiger in this article was purchased from when it was a young cub. If you have any information, location, or photos of that facility PLEASE e-mail me.
