Bonobo Endangered SpecieThese Bonobo photographs were taken in Memphis Tennessee at the Memphis Zoo. They have a nice indoor zoo exhibit as well as nice outdoor zoo exhibit for the Bonobo troop there. Bonobos are an extremely endangered Specie. Some AZA zoos are participating in an SSP to save the endangered bonobo. They even are doing things to help raise funds and awareness for organizations that are trying to study and save the Bonobos in the wild. THAT I like. Bonobos can be found in only one place in the world: the southern Congo Basin, south of the Congo River in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
