Christmas is a time for family and friends to enjoy each
other. What better way to do that then to do a Christmas Craft together?
Children really enjoy making Christmas Crafts with an adult. These Christmas
craft ideas can be used by individuals or by groups. Also the best gifts
are the ones that are hand made. A great Christmas idea is to help a child on
your list to make a Christmas craft they can give as a Christmas gift.
Mix up a batch of fake snow by pouring the Ivory Snow into a bowl, add the
water and beat with an electric mixer until doughy.
Shape the damp soap into three balls that will make the snowmans body.
Stack them by gently pushing a toothpick halfway into the center of the bottom
ball. Then, push the middle ball down onto the toothpick until the two balls
touch. Do the same for the snowman's head.
Now, add twig arms, clove eyes, shirt buttons and a felt scarf. To make a
smiling mouth, press on a row of seed beads. For a mini carrot nose, color the
tip of a short twig with orange paint. Top off the snowman with an egg-cup hat
or a set of pipe-cleaner earmuffs.
Note: As the soap dries, it will lose its grayish tinge and turn
bright white.
