Giant Pandas are an endangered specie. There are only eight adults and three cubs in the United States. These giant pandas are found in only four AZA accredited zoos in this country. All of the Giant panda bears in the US actually belong to the country of China and are here only on loan. This Giant Panda Cub photo was taken in the San Diego Zoo in the spring of 2004. In order to get this many giant panda baby photos I spent five days standing in line repeatedly. They don't let you just hang out and watch the pandas like you can in Memphis. You have to stand in a long line OUTSIDE the exhibit and then when you FINALLY get inside every time you pause to take a photo someone barks at you, "Keep the line moving."
