Indah, the baby Orangutan Learns to Walk

This is Indah, the baby Orangutan that lives in the baby nursery of the The Memphis Zoo in Memphis, Tennessee. Indah is learning to walk. She uses a rolling chair to hold on to to walk around the nursery. Baby orangutans learn to sit, stand and walk about the same ages as human babies do. I make a trip to the Memphis Zoo about every other month to see little Indah. it is a 7 hour drive, but boy is it work it. Orangutan Jigsaw puzzle below the photo. |
