Penetrating Chest Wounds

If there is a penetrating wound to the chest associated with difficulty in breathing:

bulletDo NOT remove any objects sticking out of the chest!
bulletMake an airtight seal over the wound and around any foreign object by applying a cloth or plastic sheet and holding or taping (not too tight!) around the chest.
bulletTRANSPORT IMMEDIATELY TO A VETERINARIAN!
